You are very welcome to come and join us at our private equestrian property set in rural East Yorkshire.

Durban House is a caravan site which opened in Easter 2017 and enjoys open views over the immediate countryside.

Situated in the rural village of Gilberdyke, Durban House is a six-berth caravan site ideal for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat while remaining in easy reach of some of Yorkshire’s premier attractions.

Things to Do Nearby

The local village has 3 pubs, a well-stocked mini supermarket, post  office, butchers, and a choice of takeaways – all within 1 mile.

Fishing enthusiasts will find themselves spoilt for choice, as Newport has a variety of lakes and ponds, as well as the canal running through the  centre of the village. Bird watchers will also find the area has much to offer, with both the North Cave Wetlands and Blacktoft Reserve.

We are close to the historic market towns of Howden and Beverley, 20 minutes drive to Hull and less than an hour away from Leeds, York, The Yorkshire Wolds and the East Coast.
